
Pastor Ken Kamau, Lead Pastor
Having received Christ in June of 1997, Pastor Ken got serious in his walk just after high school. He started off in ministry involvement in Deliverance Church Nakuru, later D.C Langata and finally D.C Ongata Rongai where he served as the youth leader. This is where he got “knocked into shape”. He later joined the Nairobi Chapel in 2005 as Youth Pastor in the Waiyaki Way Church plant.
He is a graduate of the Pan Africa Christian University, BA in Bible & Theology. He is married to Ruth Wacuka who also serves on the K3C staff team and together they have one son Nathan Kamau who is 5 years old. Pastor Ken enjoys sports, reading and long-distance driving.
Pastor David Obuki, District One Pastor
David is a lively easy going football lover, who never walks alone. He was born again one evening after family devotion at the age of 12. David knew that he was called into ministry 12 years ago but only joined the staff team two years ago.He is married to Gladys and they have been blessed with two wonderful sons Jesse and Jason. He currently serves as the pastor overseeing District One.
Pastor Anne Mburu, District Three Pastor
She has been in love with God since she had an encounter with Him at the age of 11 years.
As a young adult Anne sensed the Lord calling her to full time ministry. That was when she went to Bible School. Anne loves to have fun, travel, read and just hang out. As the pastor overseeing District 3, Anne is excited and waits with baited breath to see all that God has in store for his people in Tandaza groups.
Her passion is to see believers transformed and living unashamedly for Jesus.
Anne’s maxim is “Najuvunia kuwa mtoto halisi wa Mungu!”
Pastor Cyrus Gikori
Cyrus is an ardent disciple of Jesus Christ. He is married to Susan and they have two girls, Wairimu 15, and Muthoni 11. He is a much-travelled individual who loves music, art, laughter, writing, cars and gimcracks. He has a heart for people.
Esther Wanjiku, District One Co-ordinator
Esther’s main role is coordinating District One. She also helps in facilitating the hospitality ministry. Esther is single. She loves hiking and enjoys watching movies BIG time! Her Passion is being involved in Social Work activities in the community. Currently she’s studying counseling at the Nairobi International School of Theology. Esther got involved in various ministries in the church, but felt that it was not enough. She needed more. Fortunately an opportunity for full time ministry presented itself via the K3C Internship Program in 2008 and she has been serving ever since.
Ruth Wacuka, District Three Co-ordinator
Born into a Christian family as the second born of 3, Wacuka enjoyed growing up as a pastor’s kid. She received Jesus Christ as her Savior at the tender age of 8 years but only understood His Lordship in her high school years.
In 2009 Wacuka sensed a call to transition out of her job and joined the 2010 internship programme at K3C. Early this year, she joined the K3C staff team as the Zone Coordinator in District 3. Her key role entails Administration of the established district structures in support of the District Pastor.
Wacuka is a graduate of Daystar University where she attained a double major in Psychology and Community Development. She is married to K3C’s Senior Pastor Ken Kamau and they are privileged to be bringing up a man of God in their son Nathan Njogah.
Working hand in hand with the Pastoral team is the Administration team. Our administration team consists of an Administrative Assistant, Accountant and two Caretakers. Though working a lot in the background, the team is responsible for the smooth running of the ministries as well as the church. Service is our trademark.
Linda Wanjiru – Administrative Assistant
Linda is a multifaceted individual who enjoys doing many different things. This is best depicted in her love for the outdoors and a penchant for problem solving. Linda became born again while in high school and has been engaged in Ministry ever since. She is single and enjoys traveling, reading and different forms of art. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is trained in the experiential learning field. Her greatest desire is to see people live to their God given potential.
Grace Makandi – Accountant
Grace is a single lady who regards herself as quietly understanding. She gave her life to Christ in 2006 and has since served with teens and children’s ministries. At K3C she serves in the accounts department and the ushering ministry. She is pursuing C.P.A training at the Vision Institute of Professionals. Grace loves reading motivational books, traveling and listening to gospel music.
Paul Juma - Caretaker
Paul Juma a.k.a. ‘Juma Power’ is famous for his dedication in service. He is highly energetic, loves to laugh and speaks impeccable Kiswahili. His lighthearted spirit and love for God’s word is evident in His interaction with people and leading of a Tandaza group. He is married and has 3 children.
Mary Minayo – Assistant Caretaker
Mary is a mother of two who is warm, loving and always receives people with a smile. Movies and cooking are her favorite pass time activities. Since her salvation in 2000, she has been part of the worship ministry and sharing of God’s word with those who don’t know the Lord.
